The only thing that makes me sad about Chuck ending is about Sarah🥺... given her past and childhood loneliness.. She did not deserved what happened at all.. all good things and family like feelings and peoples.. like she started trusting Casey .. just sad... But Hey! Who said life's always fair..
I like to think of ending- as that Morgan's theory of one magical kiss💋 turned out right..
Just Updated

Hello, hello,
When the show first came out in 2007 we watched the first few episodes and loved it. Then our son was born and we got so busy with baby stuff we slowly forgot about this show. Now just by chance I found it again on Amazon Prime and have loved watching all the of rest of the seasons of 1-4. I'm now on Season 5. But I'm having reservations about watching the ending. I'm trying to be careful as I can and not spoil it or read a spoiler by being on this fandom website. However I have read a few title summaries here and there. So I ask you Chuck Fandom community, should I watch all of the episodes of Season 5 and just have closure good or bad? Or don't watch the last episode or two and just have it end in my mind on a positive satisfying way? If you could unwatch those episodes would you?
By the way our son is now 13 years old and we now get to watch the entire series with him! The circle of life!
Thanks for your thoughts,
The 3 Maybees
Just completed the series for 5th-6th times and I still hate the pointless ending. 5 years of character development given away in just final 2 episodes is totally illogical and some people say that there is an open ending lol there is no open ending Sarah's memories were restored after the kiss same way Chuck's memories were restored in S4 and even if the kiss doesn't work, in S3 Sarah told Chuck she fell for him when he fixed her phone and started diffusing bombs with computer viruses which exactly what happened in final episode too and this time it will be easy for them to get together because they don't need to pretend that they don't have feelings for each other like they were doing in previous seasons.
Instead of this useless arc the creators should have came up with something involving Chuck figuring out the intersect but now we will never know if Chuck is smarter than Orion (as Orion mentioned) or not. This arc would have closed all the loose ends of the show like Ellie's research in S4 and Chuck being an underachiever.
I'm still hoping for a movie so that they can fix this and this beautiful show deserves a proper ending.
Hello all.
First, I wish to appologize for my awful english, I'm French.
One of my neighbour made me discover Chuck when season 3 was running. Then, I started to watch it in english with subtitles all long .... except season 5. When I saw the last sequence of the season final 4 (when Morgan receive the intersect), I guessed and feared that season 5 will be nonsence.
When I looked for the titles of the last season I guessed that the writers were "making shit" (as we could say in France). I succeeded to only see the last scene of the last episode (in english without subtitles) and I guessed that was probably right but I stayed with the idea that all will be ok for Chuck ans Sarah
I started watch back the serie several times without finish season 2 or 3 for different reasons. But I never finished the serie.
Then, three weeks ago, I decided to watch the serie again and to try to go till the end this time. I "binched-watch" (?) it in two weeks only (including my job, ride to it, family life etc ...). And I watched season 5 ... and it turned on my minds very badly (note : I watched season 4 and 5 without subtitles - wasn't working wirth my reader - I don't know why - so I maybe missed some little things). I feared season 5 - I was right. And once finisiehd, I stayed with too much questions in my minds.
The 2 main ones :
- Will Sarah recover her memory ?
- Will Sarah be in love with Chuck again ?
I know the second one can be strange but, in épisode 12 of season 5 she says to chuck "I don't feel anything". So even the memory can be recovered, it's not sure that the feelings will be the same anyway.
For the first question, we have several clues (the beach, the virus, etc). And we have the example of Morgan to think that it might be the same process (not Chuck in season 4 because it's technically different). Then, there's videos, Morgan, Alex, Ellie, Casey, Sarah's mom to help her to recover her memory.
In fact, I was more turned on the second question (I know, at my age it's completely stupid, especially for a fiction, but I imagined the character of Sarah : she wake up, five years are erased of her memory, she's not a CIA agent any more, she's married, her boyfriends (Bryce) is dead since ... 4 years, her "manager (?)" is dead ... a lot to clear up).
So I decided to make lists to project Chuck and Sarah's story :
- Reasons to be pessismist :
* How deep are the damages on her memory (anyway, stronger than for Morgan) ? Will she ever
* The magical kiss doesn't work and the story between Chuck and Sarah ends with the serie.
... mayber others I don't have in mind now
- Reasons to be optimist :
* Morgan recovered his memory and feelings for Alex, Why not the same for Sarah ? Even it can take more time
* She asks Chuck to kiss her in the final scene : her personnality hadn't change : she asks so she has feelings enough strong for that.
There is more clues "off" : in this interview (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyXCjCb8PP0)
Yvonne Strahovski says (or thinks) that Chuck and Sarah will have a normal couple life).
..... but there is 2 other strange things that make me think that way :
First : Casey's leaving : even he wnats to show himslef as a rude man, he showed several times he has affection for both Chuck and Sarah. Before leaving the castle, he hugs Chuck and "winks" (?) at Sarah as he guessed that her feeling for Chuck were back, or close to be.
Two : Chuck tell their story to Sarah : they laugh, cry and so on. Then Chuck speaks about Morgan's Theory. And Sarah has a mysterious smile as she says "a magical kiss".
And there is my point of view : As said Ellie, the memory is linked with emotions, that Sarah had a lot while Chuck narrate her their story. During Chuck speaks, Sarah recover her memory about these facts and maybe some more emotionally linked to them that revives her love for Chuck. When Chuck Speaks about Morgan's theory , he gives her a subtle way to say him she loves him back (?) again. The kiss is not magic for Sarah's love nor memory, if it's magic, it's for their story... going on
.... and now I fell absolutely stupid (like Chuck in Standford trying to speak with Jill after he had been fired - maybe more).
In my researchs, I found this on a french site : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAZfE6OHSb0
The site reports that following this reading, the two creators felt that the alchemy was still there and that they wished to go on for more if public (?) wants. It was almost 1 year ago, let's follow this ... maybe soon a movie or a reboot ?
Thanks all for your patience
Pad'
In season 5 shaw makes the intersect 3.0 out of everything on the internet
But wouldnt half of the intersect 3.0 be memes
Okay, we're all here because we loved the show. But let's face it, there were some issues with season five that put a lot of people off. Honestly, though, they aren't at all insurmountable. Everything that was done, can be tidied up in a well written script that deals with the problems with logic and precedent established in the series itself.
So starting with the elephant in the room; the Sarah situation. All ready been dealt with. Believe it. We saw this play out all ready with Morgan being subsumed by the flawed Intersect. He reverted to a previous, albeit more dickish, self. Chuck recognized the 7th grade Morgan from when he had grown his first mustache, "...thought he was cock of the walk; cool, sarcastic, mean. Made our lives a living hell..." Chuck reminded him about Meredith Lester, the queen of the eight grade, and how she had pantsed Morgan, and how they had gotten back at her. When Morgan managed to cut through the fog of the Intersect and pulled up the memory Chuck held out to him, he remembered who he really was almost instantly; "...we shaved off my first mustache and sprinkled in on her sandwich. I remember - that's who I am." This is the advice that was given by Ellie, the nuerologist, who would know, and she recommended this exact treatment, appealing to the memory of a patient, telling them who they'd been before, effectively unlocking their memories. So Chuck did the same thing for Sarah. He gave Sarah all their memories together, and the depth and intensity of the memories, let's say catalyzed by the kiss, restored much of who she really was. She remembers Chuck, she remembers them. Like Morgan's loss of movie trivia, there are going to be a few holes, perhaps peripheral connections like Alex and others not as intimately attached to her will have been lost, but Chuck - she remembers.
Point two. The frozen assets. They were frozen, not destroyed, not confiscated. And they were frozen during an illegal op. The fact that the man who cut them off from their funds was revealed to be a traitor and rogue would be in their favor. Plus they have Beckman on their side. Not to mention the fact that any shark tank full of lawyers would be delighted to work on getting their funds released to them while wearing nothing but barbed wire suits just for the opportunity to earn a .5% commission if successful. Remember, there's in the neighborhood of 835 million dollars at stake. Even at .5% that's enough incentive to make lawyers go into an absolute feeding frenzy, and still leave more than enough for Chuck and Sarah. One clear strategy is to make clear that the funds belong to the firm that saved the world from the Omen virus, the powers that be would be required and requested to payback such a firm with a friendly gesture, Chuck and Sarah would have quite enough to convert Carmichael Industries into the cyber security firm it should probably be.
And that was the third issue. Carmichael was just too small to be a viable spy for hire gig in the long term. Carrying through the in story proposal to shift to cyber security, they're all ready half way there, especially if you bring in the former Nerd Herders as analysts. Let's face it, after the inevitable, and likely repugnant, scandals that will lead to Jeffsters! slinking withdraw from Europe, they'd be ready made analysts that could be closed up in offices and taken out when needed. Carmichael Industires could even be in a cooperative agreement with Verbansky sharing muscle or tech back and forth as needed. Of course, if it were me, would change the name to Carmichael Associates, since it's more accurate, but that's a small point.
These are the big ones. There are probably a few more.
This show sucked! It let me down in a bad way, it started out extremely fun with the super spy, sensitive, romance you would want in a show then the screw it up by the first episode of the third season.
hey there people need your help, my gf and i are huge chuck fans , and her birthday is in a few weeks , i wanted to give her a replica of the bracelet chuck gives to sarah in saison 2 in the christmas holiday on the buy more , i know a guy who make good replicas but don't have an image of the bracelet could you help ?
Does anyone have video of the preview they showed at the NY Comic Con Panel? This was halfway through season three when the panel was only Schwartz, Fedak, and Yvonne. I remember it had clips from Broken Heart, Tic Tac, Dream Job, and The Ring. My exhausted Google search has failed me!
Thanks!
