Michael Clarke Duncan was an American actor who played Mr. Colt in the second season premiere. Duncan first acted in the 1995 film, Friday. He also played John Coffey in The Green Mile, which earned him an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe nomination. Michael passed away on September 3rd, 2012 due to complications of a heart attack that hospitalized him on July 13th.[1]
